A resin drive is two different jobs, and they can look similar from the kerb.

Bound is the stones mixed through the resin, laid as one surface. On a proper base, water can pass through it. Bonded is resin down first, stones scattered on top. The quote names which one you are getting. A coat on a drive that has already failed is only a skin. We'll tell you if the old base has to come out.
